An ode to Bixi, one of the celebrated Dragon King’s nine sons, whose influence permeates the multi-dimensional space with an all-encompassing juxtaposition between light and darkness. Bixi’s most obvious celebration makes itself known upon entering, where a custom mural by renowned comic book artist Eduardo Risso showcases the dragon-turtle amidst the Chicago skyline, directly opposite the brewery. A caged ceiling featuring custom light fixtures hangs over ample first-floor seating, leaving the impression of living within a comic book yourself.

Upwards to the second floor, chef and artist Won Kim’s custom mural enfolds the staircase, evoking the sense of climbing a tree in a dark, sinister forest. The branches reach, leading you to live greenery, white marble, a retractable glass roof and outdoor patio. A private dining room and lounge sit off to the side, both bringing back the dark, sultry vibes from the first floor.

Affectionately referred to as “The Opium Den” by the BiXi crew, the Lounge is intimately designed and best suited for cocktail parties of 20 or fewer.

Bixi’s dedicated private dining room, The Green Room, seats up to 44 guests, with standing room for up to 70. Forest green walls, suspended spider lamps, and curated oil paintings featuring three generations of the Bixi family create a unique backdrop for private dinners and receptions.

Full second floor buyouts are available any day of the week for a minimum of two (2) hours. The seated capacity is approximately 120 guests, with standing room for up to 220. Featuring a retractable glass roof, outdoor patio, full bar and private guest restrooms, the second floor offers a bright, completely private experience without the fuss of a full restaurant buyout.

Room Fees and Food & Beverage minimums vary by day and time of the week.
